A little something about Echinacea

The Echinacea plant is found primarily in North America and produces beautiful flowers.  This medicinal plant has been used for over 400 years to treat infections and boost the immune system.  In the 18th and 19th century it was used to treat serious illnesses such as malaria, syphilis, scarlet fever, and diphtheria.  It is currently used to treat sinusitis, the common cold, ear infections, and the flu.  There are nine species of Echinacea, however, only 3 of them have been used medicinally - Echinacea purpurea, Echinacea angustifolia, and Echinacea pallida. Many herbal preparations use two or more of these species to assure efficacy.  Clinically, Echinacea has proven to be very effective at boosting the immune system and fighting infections.   Echinacea is found in Good Elements Resistance immune system defense formula and blends 3 of the most effective proven species of Echinacea to assure maximum immune system support.
